Especially since any of a variety of reasons - from Borderland oath to an arranged marriage - might be used to connect the two regardless. Something can easily pop up in the story and make this "Broken Crown" ridiculousness actually connect with the Wolf Banner and the story of Manetheren.

Did my post inspire no other reaction? Do you agree or disagree about the nature of Perrin's actions, or the odds of the Perrin-Faile conversation going in that fashion? Is there another prediction that you have on the matter?

Manetheren did not extend toward Saldaea; its northern extent was in the Two Rivers or possibly Baerlon. Most of its territory is now Ghealdan and northern Altara and Amadicia.
