I don't think there's an issue with the actually delivery of the spoiler since that's in agreement with the policy, I just don't like the reference to 'confirm it with the other poster who already reviewed it'.
The poster is right in that many people will refuse to believe. Over at Westeros, I got a reply from KCF that such spoilers are always suspect. Since he has the book, and hasn;t said one way or another if this spoiler is right, I'm reserving judgment. But the fact remains that many people will be skeptical.
