I'm convinced that Etzel is so convinced of Slayer that he's going to write to Tor and tell them that they made a typo in the book and that "Slayer" should be inserted in place of "Graendal" as the killer of Asmodean.
There were, ultimately, arguments for lots of people, but I think the best ones were for Graendal (from an opportunity perspective) and Lanfear (from a motive perspective).
I'm just glad that the speculation is finally over.
