He is sexist; he is a guy; he is the Dark One. Honestly, what more do you need? You're right, he is being unfair for the most part but why does it make sense for him to be fair?

We have no proof that the Dark One is male, or even if gender applies to him.

And it doesn't make sense for him to be fair. But it makes even less sense for him to be sexist.
