Did not betray anyone but Aran'gar. And we see that she managed to convince Moridin that that wasn't her fault, and worked to their advantage.


IMO it doesn't make sense to rape the 'whore' typecast of the Forsaken. The chapter makes as if she was hysterical with fear while it happened, but I find it very out of character. Graendal is meant to be the symbol of sexual perversion in the series... raping her is probably not a good symbolic punishment for her.
