IMO it doesn't make sense to rape the 'whore' typecast of the Forsaken. The chapter makes as if she was hysterical with fear while it happened, but I find it very out of character. Graendal is meant to be the symbol of sexual perversion in the series... raping her is probably not a good symbolic punishment for her.


I think it is totally out of character for her to yell out and resist so much. That would fit Mesaana. Graendal would have handled it better.
