Rape is a crime of power not sex. Graendal's rape is actually the best way to punish her... It was Mesaana and Moghedien who had no reason to be raped. I do agree that being the 3rd rape victim of SH is rather unimaginative though. At least RJ (or Bsand) could have come up with fitting punishments for each of them. Seemed like were going to see more of that when her made Aran'gar a woman and Osan'gar unimpressive and possibly Cyndane being short... The new bodies seemed to be their own forms of punishments.


Yes, I found this very unimaginative by the author. It's also starting to make SH look like some sort of horny Myrddraal, and detracts a bit from his menace and reminds me more of a dog that dry humps everything rather than the ultimate evil that he is.

SH should have scarred Graendal, and perhaps marked her with a scar like Sammael had that could not be healed. Striking at her vanity would have been a better choice of punishment, and would have humiliated her in front of the other Chosen.
