This is yet another issue where Egwene has surpassed my lowest expectations! All this time all her worshipful followers on this site and its predecessor have been justifying her lust for power and self-aggrandizing course of action with the promise of the good she can or will do once she achieves her goal and has control of the Tower. And now that she has, all the welcome reforms she was supposed to institute are as dust next to Elayne's actions from a single conversation, and Nynaeve's admonitions on the occasion of her bullshit testing will go much further to improving the Tower, if heeded, than all the lectures on unity and being useful from the Child Amyrlin. While she inches along with her tepid reforms, in the meantime, her foreign policy has centered around undermining Rand's authority among the nations and attempting to strip them of defenses so they can bring armies to augment her ego when she attempts to interfere with Rand's efforts to fight the Dark One. Even a Power-hating nationalist who was a rebel against Rand a year ago can see the sense in Rand's position, but a teenager who has no practical experience or intellectual qualifications thinks she knows better! WHAT. THE. HELL?
