and even if it wasn't, calling it laughable is laughable. She's a wildcard. She's given letters to way more random people than Aviendha. (Galad, Alanna).
The mannerisms and description of this person were exactly like Verin.
The timeline was kind of wacky in this book so she didn't even occur to me as possibly still alive at this point. She makes a lot of sense.
As an aside, I was freaking out there for a minute when Aviendha ate the food our stranger prepared. Maybe I'm just silly, but that struck me as a terrible idea and then came to nothing.
