How the hell did Olver win Snakes and Foxes? His dice roles seemed to emulate Mat's dice rolls in the Tower of Ghenjei?

How the hell did big Olvster win? This would seem to imply that the game actually is winnable with an ultra-lucky set of dice roles. Also, did anybody else get totally creeped out by Olver's POV?


For some reason I was really sure Olver was going to turn out to be a DF. I think it was that the Gholam never actually threatened him, but did everyone else around Mat. Anyway, I was kind of disappointed my pet theory didn't work out. ;)
