I think Rand will step in before they attack the WT again and get Fortuona to agree to his peace agreement (fulfilling the binding prophecy) which will have a no attacking the WT clause. The Travelling scene I think is mostly irrelevant apart from comfirming that they do indeed now have the ability which will make them much more able to help during the LB - and will of course come in very handy when Fortuona is ready to take her armies home to reclaim her throne.
