Is the awful time line management throughout ToM and tGS a deliberate plot device to demonstrate how the pattern is becoming less stable as the last battle approaches?

This could explain Tams magic Gateway from chapter 29 of ToM to the begining of the same book via midway through tGS.



I don't see it as awful. It was very cool implementation to show as the timeline in ToM relative to the end of tGS. Basically, whenever we see Tam with Perrin - it was prior to Super Rand, so the readers will know. As I said, very cool.
