We've run across many women and men who are weaker than the main characters in saidar, but who have a Talent for Healing allowing them to outperform stronger channelers.
We also know that Rand has a talent for Travelling (or at least for holding a gateway open). Perhaps Aviendha has this Talent, as well. But apparently Androls' talent is stronger than Rands'.
