I'm doing a re-read of the series and I am halfway thru LOC.
Just before I got off the bus I got to the part where Egwene notices something going on between The Wise Ones and Berelin. It involves Rhuarc in some way.
This never jumped out at me before and I can't remember what becomes of it later.
So what is going on?

As far as I know, it's never been explained properly.
