You may recall it figured prominently in my (now partly disproven) theory that the divisions in the White and Black Towers would be closed in a bloody civil war. I still think such a war quite likely for the reasons I stated then: Asha'man, Darkfriend and otherwise, have no restrictions on using the One Power as a weapon, and an Aes Sedai Bonded to any of them would be free to do so as well if she saw her Bondholder attacked. Logically, all hell should break loose (but then, that IS the idea in AMoL, right? ;))
