Is Lanfear appearing in Rand’s dream at the end of TOM a trap? It seems awfully reminiscent of what Ishamael did at the end of TEOTW when he tempted Rand with an apparition of Kari al’ Thor. Lanfear/Cyndane is mindtrapped by Moridin/Ishamael so surely she cannot do anything without Moridin’s permission. Is this one of the Shadow’s final attempts to trap Rand and subvert him. Can Moridin even compete with Rand now he has his uber light power?
