It's either a deliberate trap, or some side effect of the Rand-Moridin merging. Since Moridin has Lanfear mindtrapped, she is likely connected to his mind in some way, and so could theoretically have turned up in Rand's.

But I don't think it's likely. I think it's probably a trap.

I had not thought about the link between Rand and Moridin giving Lanfear access to Rand's dreams through her mind trap connection to Moridin. It is getting pretty crowded in Rand's head now.

I do think that it is a trap though. The only reason that it would be a valid attempt by Lanfear to seek Rand/LTT's aid would be if she genuinely wanted to return to the Light and that option is probably not available even if she wanted to due to the mindtrap

I think this is Cyndane's "last chance" to subvert Rand. - 24/11/2010 05:46:35 PM 474 Views
Well he Moridin did tell Graendal that someone else had been given the task of hurting Rand. - 24/11/2010 05:54:19 PM 471 Views
Yes; that's what I've said in other posts, and I'm sticking to it. - 24/11/2010 06:21:00 PM 456 Views
