In the last chapter, we hear about a group of around 10,000 "farmers" gathering at the Fields of Merrilor. Does anyone else think that these "farmers" are actually the Shadow Aiel from the epilogue mixed with Taim's Dark Asha'man and that we'll see a huge battle there?

They are odd to me too, but I don't think they are shadow aiel.

Shadow aiel are still aiel, despite a few differences, and I really can't picture an army of aiels doing such a thing.

The most logical explanation would be refugees. - 28/11/2010 02:59:11 PM 826 Views

I don't think anybody could mistake an Aiel for a farmer *NM* - 28/11/2010 05:35:47 PM 259 Views
Hehehe! This makes me giggle for some reason, repeatedly... *NM* - 01/12/2010 12:42:18 AM 252 Views
OK, perhaps not Aiel, but they sound like a Chekov's Gun to me. - 29/11/2010 02:03:42 AM 598 Views
Isn't Merrilor on the way to Tarwin's Gap from the South? *NM* - 29/11/2010 12:23:55 PM 264 Views
