A great many difficulties could be surmounted if only he could bring himself to kneel to Egwene, but he would not do it.


I'm not even bringing this up to bash her (I don't hate Elayne) but I've always felt she would take Egwene's side on things if push came to shove. She would try to convince Rand he was making the wrong decision.

She is the 3rd best choice though. I don't consider Egwene and Aviendha to be that close since there was never any attempt at contact after Egwene went to Salidar. There's also the fact she would support whatever helps the Aiel.

Oh, and the Trollocs piss me off too. Like, I might even be pissed off at the author(s) :P. They could have waited one day so we could have one happy time before the bad stuff happened. I'm not even worried about Caemlyn. I just don't want the characters to have to be worried about it and I don't want Mat to miss out on the festivities.
