I like the theory and wouldn't be upset if it played out like this. I think its more likely that Moridin (in Rand's body) kills Demandred after he realizes that Demandred is attacking him. Rand will then get a chance to kill Moridin. It will be the ultimate revelation of how the Shadow defeated its self.
