I would have guessed that any woman who kept her head down and mouth shut and then after completing the tests, sprung her bombshell that she had no intention of becoming Aes Sedai, thank you very much, that she considered all the work they got got out of her for the last few years fair trade for their teaching, and she would just be on her way now - such a woman would have been bundled off to a farm for a few decades of penance under the most nasty, uptight, need-to-get-laid-bad Red Sisters, until they were sure she was disabused of such notions and ready to be a proper sister.
Likewise for any Aes Sedai queen who tried to assert her independance and customary privacy for her own affairs. Elayne and Nynaeve had prime opportunities and have/are going to piss them away.
