I think it it was TOTALLY logical of her to go "uhm, wtf crazy man??" and then do the Amyrlin-thing to do of working together with other nations to fix something potentially catastrophic.
Not to mention that Rand's "plan" isn't exactly one from what we've seen so far. It seems to be a more a "let's fly by our pants and see what the Creator tells us to do!!" plan. Which works for Rand, but it kind of makes everyone justifiably nervous.
