Once your ovens are capable of reaching those temperatures your need for blacksmiths is gone (as it has in our world)


We don't have blacksmiths anymore, because we made machines to do the same thing: it's called "die-forged". Just sayin' ;)


That's not really blacksmithing, is it? They both shape metal at high temperatures but the differences are pretty big.
