Is that Rand isn't perfectly balanced emotionally yet (still can feel frustration and anger) and showing that she lives (while hiding Ar'angar's death) would definitely come as a substantial shock.
IMO, she will be mindtrapped or collared and used purely for that purpose, and then discarded.
Alternatively, she could be killed by SH for the exact same reason (he doesn't want Rand to see how ineffectual Dark Rand was).
I'm not sure that would really bother him at all, to be honest. Maybe in that his strike on was pointless, but I think he's already come to terms with the horror of that action.
