I'd also like to know if male channelers among the Sea Folk were being found and trained to be Windfinders or Ashaman.

I think they are still killing them or leaving them on a small desert island without food as they have always done. Rand told Harine in TGS that saidin is now clean and they should stop killing their male channellers, but she didn't believe him.
