ToM, Ch. 49
Seventeen years was too long for the Aiel to be without battle.
Seventeen years was too long for the Aiel to be without battle.
Also Rhuark's son Ronam is present in this vision, he's a young man, not a channeller and he remembers seeing Rand at Cold Rocks Hold as a young child. Bruan, one of the Aiel Chiefs at the present time, is still alive in the vision too.
Thank you for the quote. I still don't buy that Rand, Elayne and all other parental figures are dead at the time of this scene, a mere 17 years later. I definitely and quite honestly believe though that even one generation without war would significantly increase the Aiel population who were previously killing one another as well as dying in Rand's battles.
Avi's 2nd trip indirectly tells us something about Elayne

The Queen of Andor in Avi's viewing was actually Elayne's granddaughter.

40/50 is still young for Tuon to die, unless she's assassinated

it's possible that the Dragon and his 3 wives simply leave together at a certain point

Can you honestly see Elayne leaving her children and/or the throne of Andor to be with him?

True it seems very unlikely, but perhaps they leave when the kids are grown?

It tells us Elayne doesn't rule very long, and neither does her daughter... BUT
