I was reminded of "Sword of Truth" which stole major parts from WOT after the 2nd book. And this is exactly what happened in SoT. Sisters of Darkness got raped as punishment. All the time. Even if I loved the first books, the last books of it was nothing else than slaughter and rape and Richards ego trip.

I'm happy that WOT is way more careful with this disgusting matter. I personally hate it every time I read about rape in books. I don't want that to happen to anyone, not even forsaken ones. But on the other hand, it's an important "ingredient" for realism. If there's war, rape comes with it. If I read about a battlefield or even a looting and there is not even a hint at rape, its just ridiculously unrealistic.
