Tiny question about Egeanin redqueen Send a noteboard - 06/02/2011 12:19:48 AM
I have one little question about Egeanin that's been bothering me. In one book - WH, I believe? - she thinks to herself that her mother was a 'Captain of the Gold', and so'jhin to the Empress herself. And this is odd because so'jhin are Imperial da'covale, and all the descendants of an Imperial da'covale share that status. The "mark of the raven is forever" business. Yet Egeanin was free. Just a mistake?

DomA sorted it all out, but yes, I'd read that slavery was hereditary. *NM* - 07/02/2011 11:09:27 PM 543 Views
