I think you're grasping at straws with Thom, really


I don't think I am grasping at anything. As I said, I don't believe this myself and I know the reasoning as to why thom isn't a darkfriend. This whole line of thought was some rampant speculation. In other words, a fun idea to think about.

The one thing that I can’t really explain away with Thom is that he knows Fain. Yes they both are widely traveled, but for them to have met previously and to now end up in the same place right before the trollocs attack, it’s a pretty large coincidence. It doesn’t mean he is a Darkfriend by any means, it’s just interesting.
