i love the wheel of time, but i have a hard time visualizing it as a film. i'll be interested to see how the game of thrones tv series works out. ideally, if wot were to be converted to live action, a tv series would allow for a larger scope.
think about how the later harry potter films had to cut a lot from the story to make it fit inside 2 hours. now think about WoT, which is easily 20x the content in a single book. yeah.
