They'd need to walk the walk and talk the talk in order to convince people they were worthy to be benevolent dictators. That would call for stronger internal controls and more accountability of its' members. Currently, the Aes Sedai are used to having their cake and eating it too, which is why Egwene is having so many issues with them. That type of mindset just breeds power-driven personalities that are easy to corrupt.
