Quenching is a body is a myth, and actually attempting to quench a sword in liquid nitrogen would be ummm energetic, in a very bad way (explosive shatter most likely). Cyronic treatment of a room temperature blade (much different that just dunking one into a tub of liquid nitrogen) is an entirely different process, and the results are debatable.

Regardless, the process has nothing to go with the blade absorbing nitrogen.
