The wolves communicate in a much more direct manner than speaking itself. They way they describe things, it's as if the person were right there when the event happened. It is not verbose in any sense. It only seems that way because all the gustatory, olfactory, visual, etc. perceptions have to be converted into text for the WoT reader to make any sense of them.
