He did say SINGLE handed, and that hand was Verins. So no, no credit for the series-ruiner Cannoli Send a noteboard - 25/09/2011 01:14:01 AM
I don't think there's much to say about Egwene, which is one of the reasons the board is so quiet these days. Once you've single-handedly destroyed the Black Ajah, there's really not much more to say. Its like when a beautiful flower blossoms... attacking it and saying that its an ugly flower doesn't really get much attention, just funny looks.

You mean once Verin gave her the means to destroy the Black Ajah and she botched it, allowing half of them to escape?

People say to me "Gustav, do you ever think maybe you're going to cheapen your cause by harping on Egwene so much that people stop taking you seriously?"

And I reply "Who's Gustav? My name is Cannoli. And no, that does not concern me, because her supporters are even more ridiculous. My accusations are based on facts - Egwene did date Rand, for instance. Her fans, however, persist praising her for things other people did. Egwene deserves credit for the Black Ajah in the exact same manner Rand deserves credit for winning the allegiance of Elaida's embassy, that is to say, none, because Verin was the one responsible in each case."
