Of course not.

A lot of Jordan's characterization is humourous. He took traits that exist, and exagerated them.

Galad's beauty and how female and male characters (over)react to it, and the situations its creates, is over the top for humour's sake (eg: he's so beautiful even Nynaeve has troubles keeping her concentration when speaking to him etc.) How he characterized gender relationships and traits is another of his style of humour; he took clichés like women banding together against men and exagerated it massively, to the point of giving all women nearly the same reactions and body language (people often take this wayyyy too seriously when there's a element of satire or caricature in it). Another example of his humour is taking his experience when he had two girlfriends at once who were fine with that, and exagerated all this into Rand's trio of brides that mean to share him no matter what he thought of it.

Jordan constantly walked the line between keeping it realistic enough (and succeeded - just look at all the fierce debates against or for characters) and incorporating an element of caricature in his characters. That was his style.

So no, Galad's situation isn't fully "realistic", but you just look at 50,000 hysterical teenagers at a boys' band concert and you'll find it's realistic enough, part of the "joke" about Galad is that while he's beautiful enough to attract most women, the rest of them seems to feel compelled (some inconsciously) to join in the flirting not to be outdone by the others (competitivity between women being another trait Jordan exagerated for humour, especially at the White Tower).
