Continuity mistake in the EotW Prologue, or undiscovered Talent? Nebhead Send a noteboard - 31/08/2009 01:06:47 AM
I asked this on the original wotmania board way back on the 14th December 2001, but never received a satisfactory answer. I'm going to ask it again, in the hopes that 8 years later people may have a better idea...

I'd quote the passage but, as I don't have my copy of EotW handy (I believe it imploded after being dropped in one bath too many), it's going to have to be a really rough description instead.

In the prologue og EotW travelling is mentioned, but the subject who travels, in this case Ishy, is described as 'fading' into view, not utilizing a gateway. The moment in particular is just as Ishy arrived at the newly formed Dragonmount, moments after Lews Therin immolates himself.

Is this lack of continuity on Jordan's part, or a new lost Talent?
It's all my fault...

Because Gateways didn't come until way later in the series - 31/08/2009 06:40:51 AM 943 Views
Is it? I always assumed it was because Ishy was only "half caught" - 01/09/2009 04:52:51 PM 875 Views
