Seriously, the last two books were, editorially, disasters.
Sanderson got none of the voices right. He rearranged the goddamn plots and killed the dramatic buildup. Characters say and do things they never would have otherwise. Graendal was converted into an idiot. Aran'gar even more so. I get angry even thinking about it, so I'll stop.
I miss Robert Jordan.

I think it's unfair to blame the plot and voice on bad editing. Bad writing/foresight, more likely. *NM*
