I agree that Egwene by herself lacks the power to match Mesaana (she might be a match in the skill department though).
However, a meeting between Egwene and the BA hunters seems pretty likely to me, so I'm going to assume that once they capture and question Alviarin, they will know that Mesaana is around.
I think Egwene will link with several of them (especially Pevara) and fight Mesaana.
I also see Egwene fighting Lanfear in TAR. That is entirely possible because Egwene's strength in TAR likely exceeds Lanfear's, and this will equalize the difference in their OP strength.
Both conflicts make sense because Egwene has been built up as an antagonist for each of these women.
