If someone had asked me a couple of years ago, "What book do you think will be worse: A Dance with Dragons or Towers of Midnight?" I would never have said the Martin book would be worse. Sadly, Martin is dipping below Jordan (or Jordan/Sanderson, though it's not Sanderson's fault that Jordan was so low on the scale to begin with). As a result, I could see people getting excited about the last Jordan book. I'm just not one of them.

I didn't die for it the day it came out, true (and I fell asleep about one chapter in). I can see why you feel that way, but I guess I just can't give up on the story. I refuse to believe I know how it is going to end. :P

It looked like some of that happened in the end of ToM. Have you read everything up til now?
