Somewhat of a re-hash of a conversation Perrin and Rand already had in LOC. "Strange" that this didn't sparked any feeling of déjà vu among any of the editors...


Last time they had the conversation, Rand didn't laugh, he was the stone wall of depression at the time. Sanderson probably drop it in as a direct indication that the breakthrough he made was real.
