I, too, am upset at the choice of BS. I think there are probably dozens of writers, even those not in the fantasy genre, who would have been a much better pick. I agree with Cannoli entirely that BS does not have proper skills that should have been required to finish WoT. You don't need much creativity, because the story is there. The bit of creative you do need--filling in the holes--requires more skill of seamlessly weaving the already existing characters, with already existing personalities, into an already existing plot.
He's fine at coming up with plots, but his writing is severely lacking.
