I said just because the taint has been described as oil-lie doesn't mean it has to have every property oil does. That's not to say it doesn't act like oil at all, just that nothing in the books says it acts like oil in every possible situation.

Thats what I was "getting at", seems odd that this has been dragged out for so long without me actually disagreeing with you.
