Definitely bittersweet! I've been reading WoT since 1991/2. I was a young man in the Navy then. Today I'm a professional engineer, in a long term relationship, and working hard to pay off a mortgage.
I had the first 3 in paperback, then bought tSR in hardback, and have done so with each since then. I am looking forward to finding out how it all ends, but will be sad to have no more new WoT books to look forward to.
