Demandred has evidently been honing his skills on release from the Bore


We're told it took them many decades to even have a clue what the Bore really brought about.

But during the Collapse era, various conflicts started long before the War of Shadow proper started - probably not too unlike the chaos in recent years, just lasting much longer, and taking longer to fester.

Still "centuries" look like a mistake. The Bore was created 125 years before the War of Shadow started.
