"A man lay dying in a narrow bed, and it was important that he not die."

"Yet outside a funeral pyre was being built, and voices raised songs of joy and sadness."
I always took this dream to refer to pre-epyphany Rand, but the references to the pyre and songs sound an awful lot like Rand's supposed funeral. Perhaps this dream hints that Rand, in Moridin's body, still has a role to play? Egwene's reference to "a man" lends credence to the fact that the body in the dream may not be Rand's own.

I like to think he's going to work out that Rand is still around and follow him to wherever he goes

Perhaps Moridin is the subject of the prophecy and "follows after" as Rand's new physical form?
