Yeah, would have been nice to see it earlier but so what that it's in now? Why does it have to be a fucking ~*~plot point~*~? Can't a character be gay?

This is akin to white privilege; it's so goddamn ingrained in people possessing the privilege that they don't stop to think that their world view might, just might, be lacking. The concept of "tokenism" is horseshit.
