Rather than address what Zeran said... you choose to innocently dwell on the fact you don't recognize him?

He may have gone by a different name. May have been a lurker... Who knows? What does that matter?

There are 2 possible assumptions we could have made from your response to him I suppose.

1 - You are just as Zeran described... pompous and on a high horse which is what I assumed and pointed out. - that your response was full of malice and haughtiness as though he is not important enough to have remembered and so his insult means nothing to you. Purely asinine. His point proven.

or

2 - You are flighty and mindless. If this is the case - the response was more like something coming from a dumb blonde that can't fully grasp what the insult meant. Thinking to yourself: "what does that mean? was that a compliment?" and then saying "Oh... thanks! thats nice... I don't remember you from those days... oh... can you remind me who you are?"

You're saying that you were more interested in finding out who he is than addressing what was said about you? Have you no honor to actually defend?

Are you saying I give you too much credit? I still refuse to extrapolate the 2nd assumption from what you said as you claim I should. I say, you are a liar.

If not - care to elaborate?

By the way...

It's not meant to do anything other than acknowledge that I don't recognize the poster. I've been active at wotmania/this site since 2000 and SNs change, so I don't know who I could have irritated/offended to inspire such a comment out of the blue. Usually those aren't things said to complete strangers *shrug*

He told you straight out that it has nothing to do with the Wotmania days. He said he remembered you differently from then. How did you miss that? It is in the Now that you come off as he described. Perhaps it has something to do with the post he responded to? I can't imagine he wasn't taking into account some of the other asinine things you have posted since reading the books that Sanderson has written.

You think yourself a critic? Not many people share or value your opinions of the series as a whole. That it, in hindsight, was not worth reading. Or your opinions of the last 3 books. That they were a waste of time. MOST people look at the series as a treasure... something to be passed on to their children.

Stop embarrassing yourself with your critical dribble and go read Twilight... or maybe One fish two fish.
