Sorry, I don't see the problem with Alivia. It was plainly spelled out in the book. She helps Rand "die" by helping to fake his death. In the minds of pretty much every person, Rand is dead. Alivia helps him gather some things so that he can live on, and nobody is the wiser. He spent a paragraph explaining it, IIRC.


So her "helping Rand die" was just laying out some clothes and a sack of money? Seems a bit anticlimatic don't you think?
