At the end of the series the Bight is shown to be disappearing, but as I understand the Dragon's Peace, no nation is allowed to expand their borders beyond what they currently hold. So does this mean that everything north of the former Borderlands is no one's responsibility or something that can be owned? Did I miss something with how this will be addressed in the future?


I'm not sure "no expansion of borders" applies to nations/land not in the Dragon peace.

After all, the Seanchan have an empire to reclaim, and there's still shara to deal with.

Only war between members of the peace has been outlawed, there's still plenty of fighting left to do.
