The Pattern sends in course corrections if things start going off the rails. The rest of the time, it doesn't interfere.


If the pattern wanted Egwene to stay Amyrlin, it could have manipulated events to ensure that outcome.

Why would the Pattern care whether Egwene was Amyrlin or Cadsuane? There's a hairbreadth of difference between their outlooks on most things.
It is the LB, the end of an age, and Egwene is tied to 3 ta'veren.

She's tied to Rand/the Dragon, certainly.

The pattern probably doesn't interfere with the day to day lives of non ta'veren individuals, unless it needs a certain event to happen or a major shift in the direction of wotworld.

Precisely. And Egwene to Cadsuane is far from a major shift.
Cadsuane was the better choice to lead the WT into the new age.

She's barely different. She's going to work for pretty much the same goals, with the same amount of impatience for Aes Sedai tradition, and a lot less patience for it. If anything, she'll be somewhat more effective at taking the Tower down the path Egwene set it.
